Programme October 2010

Monday 25th
Dirty Dancing Digitally remastered exclusive screening to open Thanet International film festival

Dirty Dancing to life once more on the big screen! Supporting both Demelza House & The Pilgrims Hospice.

On the 25th of October the 2010 International Filmmaker Festival will be opening with a screening of the timeless classic digitally remastered and seen like never before!

The Dirty Dancing: Limited Keepsake Blue-ray Edition has been newly remastered, given a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and includes never seen before footage of the film and characters that stole so many people’s hearts back in ‘87’.

This year’s festival will be a unique chance to watch the film, since the world lost one of its much-loved stars in 2009. See Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey once more up close and personal, and relive the experience that is Dirty Dancing.

Along with the screening on the 25th the festival will also be hosting a charity auction with film memorabilia in aid of the Demelza Children's Hospice and the Pilgrims Hospice.

Dont miss your chance, book now for this event on the 25th October 5.00pm VUE Cinema West Wood Cross
